Oakfield Trees Branches Out Online with a Brand New Website…
As a family owned and run business serving the Newcastle upon Tyne area, Oakfield Trees’ experience and reputation has made them a favourite throughout their base in Gosforth and the surrounding areas. But in search of better representation online, a move that unlocks many opportunities for businesses of any size or niche, the team behind the brand came to us.
Their journey so far
A well-respected company with an already established and growing client base, Oakfield was already well known to us with family, friends and our very own customers all mentioning the firm, and in the same breath stating that they should really have a website to promote their services online. Oakfield Trees already had a Yell business page but their team felt they needed to stand out from the crowd, and more specifically from their competitors, with a standalone platform and a bespoke design.
After driving past our office in Heaton, Dan, one of the owners of the business, looked at our portfolio and loved our work so got in touch to get the ball rolling.
What happened next?
Shortly after he got in touch, we met with Dan to discuss his aspirations for the website and he gave us some examples of the websites that he liked the look of – most of which were from our very own portfolio! With clear guidelines and a firm understanding of what the Oakfield team were expecting from us, we were quickly able to present the design concepts to the client, which they absolutely loved. In fact, the design concept we presented to Oakfield Trees is actually what you see today on the finished website.

The development process
The site you see today was developed in WordPress, allowing the client to update the site and its contents at their own leisure, particularly the gallery section of the website, which needs to be kept up-to-date to showcase the firm’s latest work. The finished result was also delivered ahead of schedule and on budget, making for a very thrilled client and some fantastic feedback, as Dan continues.
